I senaste numret av Personal & Ledarskap (nr. 11/2009) finns en intressant artikel om forskaren Lena Lid Andersson som disputerat på en avhandling med titeln "Ledarskapets retorik". I avhandlingen studerar Lena Lid Andersson varför vissa ledare får mer uppmärksamhet och genomslag än andra. En av hennes slutsatser är att vi som medarbetare tar till oss det som "vi uppfattar som riktigt, genuint och autentiskt".
När jag läser artikeln tänker jag tillbaka på min tid som vd för utbildningsföretaget InfoKomp i Malmö. Företaget var inne i en intensiv uppbyggnadsfas och jag jobbade så gott som jämt. Det var jag som både låste upp på morgonen och stängde på kvällen och minst en dag varje helg satt jag på kontoret. Efter en tid märkte jag att flera medarbetare också började dyka upp allt tidigare på morgnarna och satt kvar allt senare på kvällen. När jag talade med en av dem och uttryckte min oro för att hon jobbade för mycket och föreslog att hon borde ta det lite lugnare sade hon något... (more)
